Our Passion for St. Louis Corporate Events

Event photography is all about capturing the energy, emotions and atmosphere of a special occasion. Whether it's a corporate event, grand opening or holiday party, the goal of the event photographer is to tell the story of the event through images. Here are the key things Jennifer Korman Photography brings to every event we capture:

PHOTOJOURNALISM

As an event photographer, my approach is to blend in with the crowd and capture candid moments as they happen. I like to think of myself as a visual storyteller, and my job is to create a visual narrative that captures the essence of the event. I strive on getting you marketable moments that you can use to tell the story of the event on social media, marketing materials, and more.

PREPARATION + EXPERIENCE

One of the keys to successful event photography is being prepared. Before the event, I always take the time to research the venue, the guests, and the schedule of events. This allows me to anticipate key moments and be in the right place at the right time to capture them. With 9 years and hundreds of events across St. Louis and the country, I am two steps ahead knowing how to direct large groups and facilitate must have shots.

LIGHTING

Hiring a professional is crucial to make sure that great pictures can be taken under any circumstances. Whether it's natural light or artificial light, being able to control and manipulate light is essential for creating beautiful and dynamic images. I always come prepared with a variety of lighting equipment and lenses to ensure that I can create the best possible images in any lighting situation. I’ve also worked in nearly every venue in St. Louis from the America Center and Union Station, to the Ritz Carlton, so I understand the lighting before I get to your event.

FLEXIBILITY

One of the most challenging aspects of event photography is dealing with the unexpected. Things don't always go as planned, and as an event photographer, you need to be able to think on your feet and adapt to changing situations. With years of experience, I am able to remain calm, help in decision making and am ready for anything, whether it's a last-minute change in schedule or a surprise rainstorm.
